This is a simplified statement of the rules. You can read it before you join the online reunion web site.

This forum is for students who attended Downsview Secondary School, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for teachers who taught there, and for family and friends of same. You may be asked to provide real name and year or other authentication information, as appropriate.
The forum is divided up into sections, according to topic. People are asked to read the descriptions before posting, and are expected to post in the correct sections.
Postings should always be respectful of others. Posts that belittle, threaten, make fun of, flame or insult another member will be removed. Repeated offenses may trigger warnings and or removal of forum priviledges. It is better to agree to disagree.
No pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc.
No discussion of any illegal activity or threats of violence.
No back seat moderation. If you find something that breaks the rules, contact a moderator. Don't respond yourself.
If there is someone on the forum that bothers you, ignore them.
Do not register multiple accounts.
The board language is English. The use of other languages, encryption, etc, to skirt the other rules is not permitted.
Do not post personal contact information (i.e. your home address, phone numbers, etc.) in public forums and do not ask for personal information from others.
Use good judgement. NEVER rely on information or opinions exchanged via the forums or chat rooms to replace necessary, personal consultations with qualified professionals. What's right or has worked for one person may not be what's right for you.
